Mr. O’Neill, owner of the manor of Vaumadeuc, hosted in his field, Tuesday, a group of thirty U.S. citizens in study tour in France. Received by the association « Family stay in France », directed by Monique Vaudroy, students were able to spend three weeks inBritain before leaving Paris for one month, then one last month in an area of their choice.
Three months in France
From Evergreen University in Olympia (Washington), USA, these students of history, art history, music, theater … but also agriculture and commerce, have all decided to spend three months in France, to discover a small part of its extraordinary cultural heritage. Art lovers, M.O ‘Neill immediately accepted the request of the president of the associationto visit the mansion to the small group. And so that students come from across the Atlantic have been privileged to spend a few moments in a historical building.

Sold Out at Manoir du Vaumadeuc for the Trio des Quilles
We had to add chairs Saturday and Sunday in the upper room of the Manor ofVaumadeuc to accommodate applicants for the last two recitals devoted to Mozart,Schumann and Bruch, given by the « Trio of Quiiles » composed of Thibaut Guillois(piano), Jacques Maillard (alto), Lester Alexix Chios (clarinet). Sunday as a prelude tothe stage door, Carol O’Neill recalled: « The Manor of Vaumadeuc grows for 15 years topromote culture through concerts, exhibitions … I thank the artists who came to us as such, especially Thibaut today. International Lyceum Club, meeting at the Manoir du Vaumadeuc
The cultural season began the Manoir de Vaumadeuc. The outgoing president, RobertAnnette, has officially passed the baton to his successor, Daniele Menard. TheInternational Lyceum Club has existed for over a century. It was created in 1903 in London, by Constance Smedley, for working women may have something to talkoutside the scope of their professional practices. The immediate success of his club isquickly emulated (in Berlin, in 1905 at Paris in 1906, etc..). It now has over 1000members spread over three continents (Europe, America, Oceania).
An international competition of children’s stories
